This Privacy Policy describes how Thinking Clay LLC (“KefiVerse,” “we,” “us”) uses information in connection with KefiVerse, a service provided by Thinking Clay LLC.

Notice at Collection

Categories collected include identifiers/account data; commercial/transaction data; User Content; voluntarily submitted sensitive information; technical/usage data; and derived information such as summaries, embeddings, and semantic connections. We use them to provide, operate, and secure Services; authenticate; store content; perform AI/transcription processing; manage subscriptions/billing; support/troubleshoot; prevent abuse/fraud; comply with law; and enforce Terms.

Account data includes email, Supabase Auth ID, authentication/session state, and optional name. User Content includes audio, transcripts, summaries, titles, Thoughts, Ideas, Topics, Goals, Connections, Insights, and semantic representations. Technical data includes necessary Auth cookies, a short-lived recording-operation cookie, and limited Goal sessionStorage. Microphone permission is requested only when you choose to record.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure accounts; operate recording, transcription, organization, semantic, and Insight features; process subscriptions; prevent fraud or abuse; enforce usage and entitlement limits; support and troubleshoot; communicate; and comply with law.

AI processing and service providers

For relevant features, submitted audio and/or text is sent to OpenAI for speech transcription, polishing, summaries, titles, embeddings, semantic processing, and bounded Insight review. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable; review it before use.

We use Supabase for authentication, database, private storage, and application data infrastructure; OpenAI for AI, transcription-related, embeddings, and semantic processing; Stripe for payment/card processing, billing, subscriptions, invoices, and customer processing; and Vercel for application hosting, runtime, delivery, and network-request processing. Full card numbers are collected by Stripe Checkout, not Company’s application server.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and content information while active and as needed to operate the Service. Current Thought Trash and Goal archive are reversible, not permanent deletion; ending a subscription does not delete stored content. Audio from an expired or unfinalized upload may be removed through bounded, best-effort cleanup. This is not a completed-recording retention program, and we do not state a general retention deadline.

When you confirm permanent account deletion, we promptly begin the deletion lifecycle, terminate access, and prevent future billing without waiting for the paid period to end. Eligible application and user-content data are deleted. We may retain or pseudonymize limited payment, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, security, legal, and deletion-audit records as legally required or permitted. Unused paid time is generally non-refundable except as stated in the Terms.

Security, breach risk, and rights

We use access controls, server-side authorization, private storage where applicable, retention/deletion procedures, and provider security features. No Internet, cloud, AI, payment, authentication, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Risks include hackers, malicious attacks, credential compromise, malware, ransomware, software/zero-day vulnerabilities, provider failures, user-device/network compromise, and events outside reasonable control. We preserve non-waivable security and breach-notification duties.

For access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights, email hello@thinkingclay.com. Identity/authority may be verified; we respond within applicable-law periods and may limit/deny requests where permitted. Minimal records may be retained for security, fraud, disputes, legal, and financial compliance. We honor additional applicable rights and do not unlawfully discriminate for exercising them.

Children and territory

Commercial V1 is offered only in the United States to users who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We do not offer or market Commercial V1 internationally at launch. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.

Changes and contact

We may update this Policy with legally required notice. Contact hello@thinkingclay.com or Thinking Clay LLC at the mailing address above with questions or requests.
